Now that I've finally updated the blog with Addison's seven month pictures, I can move onto Christmas.
Suffice it to say, we had a wonderful holiday season. Kevin & I were fortunate enough to both be off work between Christmas and New Years - what a treat knowing it was Addison's first Christmas. Every day was filled with something fun or relaxing. In addition, we got to see lots of family - all of the grandparents, Great Grandpa, aunties, cousins & family of the furry/four-legged type. Unfortunately, due to the weather, we were unable to see Uncle Zach, Aunt Marna & Cousin Penelope as we had hoped - this would have been the first time Addison got to meet them, so we're all very disappointed. But we're not dwelling - this just means we need to figure something else out. We also missed-out on a visit from a very dear friend who was hit with pneumonia just prior to her travels. Also a disappointment, but we hope to reschedule for a time in the near future. We love & miss you Casey!! xoxo
Regardless, we enjoyed every minute of the holidays, as did Addison. Unlike T-Day, The Babe was healthy the entire time, which made a huge difference. Her schedule was way off and she turned into a bit of a night owl, but she was in the best of spirits and an amazing sport. She didn't let the hustle & bustle phase her. And as you may have read in the prior post, the holidays brought a lot of new things for Addison - her first tooth, clapping, waving, etc.
The best way to share the holiday is to simply let you rummage through our pictures. There are tons here for you to see and a few below that we wanted to highlight.
Love to all! Thank you for everyone's kindness & generosity this holiday season. We are a lucky little family.
xoxo
